Lucien is burdened by a family curse that turns him into a werewolf, destined to kill his true love on a full moon night. Only the love of the Moon Goddess can break the curse. He secretly searches for her but mistakenly marries Cecilia, who falsely claims to be the goddess. Cecilia flees in fear, and her stepmother Muriel forces her sister Rose to take her place. At the wedding, Lucien proceeds despite knowing the bride has been swapped, telling Rose he is searching for the Moon Goddess. Humiliated, Rose flees to her university, where she is nearly assaulted by Dexter, a former suitor. In her distress, she unconsciously unleashes divine power. Lucien rescues her, but as they kiss, Cecilia bursts in, claiming to be the Moon Goddess. Lucien demands proof, which Cecilia cannot provide. He nearly kills her but is stopped by his butler, Blackwell, who insists Rose remain merely a mistress. Cecilia later discovers Rose is the true goddess and informs Muriel, who seeks a wizard to transfer the power. On the full moon, Lucien transforms and goes on a rampage. Cecilia is pushed forward to stop him and is killed. Rose embraces Lucien, and under the moonlight, her power awakens, breaking the curse and leading to their happy ending.
