Emma Harris, a poor Omega high school student, had her suppressant tampon snatched in front of everyone on her first day by cheer captain Blair, exposing her Omega identity and nearly triggering a full-scale Alpha attack across the school. Her childhood best friend Noah betrayed her, tossing the tampon into the trash. Emma fled into the girls' locker room, only to run into Raven Carrington—the strongest Alpha in school and captain of the ice hockey team. Raven offered a deal: she would temporarily mark Emma, and in return, Emma would pretend to be her girlfriend, fending off all of Raven's suitors. Emma had no choice. But as the fake marking turned into real feelings, her heart began to change.
