If you want to harm my mother? Then you must first eliminate the caregiver who took everything away from me.

Margaret, 62, lost her husband early in life and now lives alone in a suburban house, often feeling deeply lonely. Her children, Ethan and Claire, are busy with their careers and families, unable to visit their mother frequently. To care for her, the siblings hired Mona, a seemingly trustworthy home caregiver through a professional agency—only to unknowingly invite a wolf into their home.

Mona is an inveterate gambler burdened with massive debts from underground casinos. While appearing attentive and caring toward Margaret, she secretly covets the elderly woman’s savings and property. In private, she withholds food and water, physically abuses her, and keeps her under strict surveillance, aiming to seize all assets to repay her gambling debts. Weakened by age and illness, Margaret repeatedly tries to reach out to her children for help, but each time Mona skillfully deceives and obstructs her.

Ethan and Claire have long sensed something is wrong with their mother, yet they’re repeatedly distracted by daily concerns and kept in the dark by Mona’s lies. As suspicions grow, the siblings secretly install surveillance cameras at home, capturing clear evidence of Mona’s abuse, coercion, and collusion with accomplices to steal Margaret’s wealth. When the truth finally comes to light, Mona and her co-conspirators are arrested by police. Margaret escapes danger and, with her children by her side, begins to heal from the trauma.
