Cros has long served as a human "ATM" for his wife, Genevieve, and daughter, Chloe. After winning a billion-dollar lottery, he suffers a heart attack brought on by their online public shaming—triggered simply because he spent $600 on a game console. This near-death experience sparks an awakening; refusing to remain a slave to his family any longer, he begins to truly enjoy life and orchestrates a series of schemes to strike back at his parasitic relatives.
Cros first takes out a massive loan against their property and squanders the money, prompting Genevieve to initiate a divorce to avoid inheriting the debt. With the help of his lawyer, Evelyn, he tricks Genevieve into signing a divorce agreement laden with huge hidden liabilities; she ends up saddled with a $2 million loan instead of receiving a payout. Next, he exposes the true nature of Genevieve’s lover, Pierce, and exploits the man's greed to land him in prison. After losing everything, Genevieve attempts a comeback by running a restaurant, but her greed and ignorance repeatedly ruin the business—a downfall secretly accelerated by Cros, ensuring she loses absolutely everything.
Finally free from his shackles, Cros begins a new life alongside his newly met housekeeper, Aurora, and his lawyer, Evelyn.
