Three-year-old Lila, a darling child blessed with extraordinary "lucky charm" (koi-like) fortune, is brought by Viola from St. Mary’s Orphanage into the turbulent world of the Cecil estate. Upon her arrival, Lila uncovers a "stone of misfortune" hidden in the memorial hall—breaking a long-standing family curse—and goes on to heal the chronic eye ailment of the matriarch, Katherine, the selective mutism of the third brother, Ethan, and an old arm injury suffered by the second brother, Kai. Once scorned and dismissed as an unwanted "wild child," she gradually wins everyone over, becoming the cherished, beloved youngest member of the family.
Leveraging her unique gift of good fortune, Lila discovers a crucial treasure that awakens the head of the family, Arthur, from a ten-year coma. She successfully thwarts a long-laid plot by Elena and Roman to seize power, ultimately proving that this tiny, adorable child is the true, destined heir to the Cecil legacy—the one around whom the entire family now rallies.
