Sela Bridge is the Matriarch of the Nine-Sea Federation, married to Sea King Arthur. Fifteen years ago, Arthur rescued her from the old Sea King’s assault, and she became his wife. Yet Arthur turned from a gentle husband into a cold power-hungry ruler. He brought home his mistress Lysa, imprisoned Sela in the dungeon, and let Lysa shatter the spirit tablet of their eldest son Leo.
Heartbroken, Sela plotted revenge with Kane Forst’s help. She pretended to reconcile with Arthur to obtain damning evidence, only to uncover that Arthur sacrificed their son Leo to seize the throne. At the lords’ banquet, Kane put Arthur on public trial. Sela publicly severed all ties with him.
After Kane departed, Sela took sole control of the Nine-Sea Federation. She refused to follow him to the empire and chose to rule as an independent queen protecting her seas.
