"Lu Zheng and Jiang Yanxing grew up together in an orphanage, bound by a sisterhood forged in survival. Years later, after Lu Zheng rises to power as the head of the Lu family, she finally tracks down her long-lost sister—only to find her dead.
To uncover the truth, Lu Zheng makes a chilling decision: she undergoes surgery to reshape her face into Jiang Yanxing's. Posing as her fallen sister, she enters the Jiang household, where she's met with cold indifference—and treated as nothing more than a pawn to win favor with the wealthy Huo Siqi. Only her adopted brother, Jiang Zhounian, shows her any warmth.
But as she digs deeper, the lies begin to unravel. Huo Siqi was near the river where Jiang Yanxing drowned. Jiang Zhounian suspects she's an imposter. And the closer she gets to the truth, the more she realizes—the killer may be closer than she ever imagined.
A tale of vengeance, identity, and the unbreakable bond between sisters."
