Ten years ago, Delilah—an orphan—was forced to sign a humiliating agreement with the wealthy Vance family to pay for the medical treatment of Margaret, the orphanage director who was her only family. She endured a life by the side of the heir, Benjamin, caring for his daily needs and helping him recover from a painful breakup, eventually bearing him a son, Tyler. However, her decade of devotion was met only with Benjamin’s ruthless betrayal after his first love returned and rekindled their old flame. Heartbroken and disillusioned, Delilah severed all ties and moved to the UK to study at the Royal Academy of Music; through exceptional talent and relentless effort, she staged a remarkable comeback to become an international superstar.
A year later, disgraced and abandoned by the lover who had betrayed him, a remorseful Benjamin sought Delilah out with their son, Tyler, hoping for forgiveness and redemption. By then, however, Delilah had transformed completely. Supported by the devoted Weston—whose pursuit of her blossomed into a loving marriage—she found happiness and adopted a homeless girl named Shishi, creating a blissful new family.
In the story’s conclusion, Delilah crossed paths with her down-and-out ex-husband. She resolved the grievances of the past with calm acceptance, provided financial aid to help the father and son start over, and then bid a final farewell to the past, embracing a brilliant new life of her own.
