Elena, heiress to Cross Aviation Industries and manager of the Lightning Eagles aerobatic team, had devoted three years of her life to her 23-year-old boyfriend, professional aerobatic pilot Jake Cole, by the time she turned 29. She planned to propose to him on his birthday, but on the very day her boyfriend’s “one true love,” Sasha, returned to the country, she unexpectedly discovered that he had never loved her and had always treated her as nothing more than a “dating simulator.” She decisively chose to break up with him and accepted the arranged marriage partner her father had selected for her, Adrian. After losing Elena, Jake finally came to his senses—but it was too late!
