Scarlett, an ordinary college student, stumbles upon her boyfriend Chad's affair with Valentina, the daughter of a mobster, at an open-air hot spring, and is publicly humiliated by the two. Drunk, she mistakenly enters a room and unexpectedly becomes entangled with Dante, a mob boss who is being attacked. After a night of passion, Scarlett mistakes him for a male model and flees, abandoning her payment.
After several twists and turns, the two meet again on the college campus. Scarlett unexpectedly discovers she is pregnant, and Dante is rescued by her enemies. Knowing about the pregnancy, Dante resolves to take responsibility, silently protecting Scarlett and secretly helping her with her studies and financial problems.
Dant's favoritism infuriates his daughter, Valentina, who, along with her ex-boyfriend Chad, relentlessly harasses and slanders Scarlett. Faced with campus-wide rumors and the two's malicious targeting, Dante publicly defends his wife, escalating the father-daughter conflict to a breaking point. After learning that Scarlett is pregnant with her father's child, Valentina is even more determined to stop Scarlett from becoming her stepmother by any means necessary, thus officially beginning a conflict that spans the school and a mafia family.
