Pregnant Chloe was locked in a -19°C cold storage during her mother-in-law's ball. Her husband Peter, a top obstetrician, ignored her calls to stay with his assistant Mia. Chloe's mother Evelyn rushed over but couldn't get in—Peter's cousin Tiffany blocked the rescue path. Chloe died, leaving a baby girl. Evelyn vowed revenge. She lured Mia and Tiffany to the morgue, where they confessed on record to delaying rescue and framing Chloe. Peter saw the truth and drowned in regret. Evelyn won custody, Peter's family was ruined by scandal and debt, and the four died in a fire. Evelyn felt no joy—only sorrow. She now raises her granddaughter alone, holding onto Chloe's memory.
