Faked Death In Blazing Fire, I Settle Scores With Every Traitor

Clara Bennett, 43, once a legendary Wall Street asset tracker codenamed “Red Ledger”, sacrificed her stellar career for marriage, transferring all her clients, financial models and industry contacts to her husband Preston. Two decades later, she uncovers his horrific betrayal: Preston is having an affair with her stepsister Lacey. The pair forged her signature to take out a $50 million life insurance policy and embezzled $300 million pension funds belonging to 800 retirees.

They set out to kill Clara. Her car brakes were sabotaged, her sedatives laced, and emergency exits sealed. On the day the insurance policy became valid, Preston and Lacey hired Marcus to start a fire, planning to burn her alive. Clara escapes through an abandoned maintenance tunnel. She lets the world believe she is dead, then makes a shocking appearance at her own funeral.

Reviving her professional identity as Catherine Bell, she joins Shaw Capital with $500 million bailout capital under Bellmont Fund. Digging into offshore accounts, she manipulates the conspirators to turn against each other. Aiden learns he is Preston’s biological son and was chosen as their fall guy. Ethan surrenders the server evidence to save himself. Cornered, Lacey kidnaps Aiden and tries to flee New York with the remaining $100 million.

Just as Clara closes in on victory, the defense produces a hidden $50 million account registered under her name, branding her as the real mastermind of the massive fraud. Clara fights back, using login records, secondary authorization logs, password recovery trails and anniversary-night surveillance footage to prove she was framed.

She fully recovers the stolen pension money. Preston and Lacey receive life sentences. Clara reactivates her “Red Ledger” persona, reclaiming the career, dignity and life stolen from her for twenty years. Yet one unaccounted offshore shell company remains hidden, holding evidence that could reignite the whole case.
