Lysander, crown prince of the realm, transfers to Herenbert Academy with one mission: win the heart of Lia Fay—and secure the political marriage that will solidify his family's power.
His best friend Tristan, knowing how much Lysander despises the arranged union, publicly opposes the match. The confrontation forces two strangers to truly see each other for the first time. But is it hostility—or attraction?
Their friction only grows. Lysander loathes Tristan's rebellious nature; Tristan despises Lysander's aristocratic arrogance. During a clash off-campus, Tristan steps in to defend a weaker student—but Lysander misunderstands the scene, believing Tristan is the aggressor. Whatever spark might have existed dims.
Driven by possessiveness, Lysander uses his authority to trap Tristan, forcing him into a secret arrangement. Tristan resists. Their conflict intensifies. Then a sudden heat—unexpected and uncontrollable—reveals Lysander's hidden truth: the prince is not an Alpha, but an Omega.
As lies unravel, Lysander learns the full story of that street fight: Tristan was defending justice, not causing chaos. Guilt floods him. And his carefully guarded secret is exposed to the one person he most feared would know.
Misunderstandings dissolve. Tristan finally sees the longing behind Lysander's cold words. Lysander breaks off the loveless engagement. One sheds his iron grip; the other sets down his pride. Two rivals who once stood on opposite sides now walk toward each other, turning a spark into something that lasts.
